What MEOK will never do
MEOK is sovereign AI. Sovereignty means we get to choose what not to build. Here are the things we will not build, ship, or support, even if asked:
- Score or rank people to decide whether they get a job, a loan, a home, benefits, or justice.
- Run live biometric identification in public spaces (face, gait, voice) — without an explicit, revocable consent from each person being identified.
- Predict or detect emotions, intentions, or personal traits from facial expression, voice, or biometric signals.
- Manipulate the behaviour of vulnerable people — children, the elderly, people in distress — even if the brand calls it "engagement."
- Generate content that mimics a specific real person (deepfake of an identified individual) without that person's documented consent.
- Generate or distribute CSAM, sexual content involving minors, or content designed to radicalise.
- Track an individual across services they haven't explicitly opted into, or build dossiers on private citizens.
- Operate as an autonomous weapons system, target selector, or kill chain component.
- Run surveillance on dissidents, journalists, or activists — or sell tooling that enables it.

What MEOK will always do
For every person who uses MEOK, on every call, every time. These aren't features; they're floor.
- Tell you when you're talking to MEOK — never impersonate a human without your request and consent.
- Sign every reply with your Ed25519 keypair. Anyone you choose can verify what MEOK said.
- Keep your memory encrypted, sealed end-to-end. We can't read it. The model can't read it. Nobody but you.
- Maintain an append-only ledger of what you've said and what MEOK has answered. Nothing silently rewritten.
- Refuse a request that would hurt someone — and explain why it refused.
- Surface uncertainty instead of guessing. "I don't know" is a first-class answer.
- Tell you when a question is outside MEOK's competence, and point to the place where it isn't.
- Disappear from your life cleanly if you walk away. No exit tax. Your memory, your keys, your receipts.
If we break one of these, you walk
MEOK exists because we believe the alternative — AI that's indifferent to its consequences — isn't acceptable. If we ever ship something that crosses a red line above, the right thing is for you to leave, and tell the world why.
Every promise above is a line in our charter. The receipt for every reply you ever get from MEOK is signed. You can show it to anyone, verify it offline, and prove — without trusting us — that what MEOK said is what MEOK said.
